外國對哈薩克斯坦大多數行業的投資都有顯著增加,但採掘業投資明顯下降。從外國對哈薩克斯坦投資行業的變動情況看, 2004～2007年,外國對哈薩克斯坦投資變化的行業是地質勘探、勘測業和採掘工業。這兩個行業在2005年出現大幅變動, 一升一降, 前者比重從2004 年的21. 79%躍升至51. 6%,後者從63. 4%迅速降至27. 5%;到2007年,前者降至37. 9%,後者基本不變。另外,金融業的投資變化也很大,從0. 9%大幅升至8%。投資相對逐年增加的行業還有貿易、汽車和家用製品修理。外國對哈投資相對逐年減少的行業除採掘業外還有加工工業。外國對哈投資呈現波動的行業有色冶金工業、建築業、運輸和通訊業以及農、獵、林、漁業。投資行業結構的變化主要與國際市場能源供需和價格變動以及哈的投資政策變動有關。
Foreign investment in most industries of Kazakhstan have significantly increased, but the investment in mining industry has decreased significantly. From the changes in the foreign investment industry in Kazakhstan, 2004 ~ 2007, foreign investment in Kazakhstan, there was a change of geological prospecting, exploration and mining industry. Investment is relatively increasing year by year in the industries such as trade, automobile and home products repair. Foreign investment reduced in mining and processing industries. Foreign investment in Kazakhstan faced fluctuations in such industries as non-ferrous metallurgical industry, construction, transportation and communications industry, as well as agriculture, hunting, forestry, fisheries. Changes in the structure of the investment industry are mainly related to the changes in the energy supply and demand and price movements of the international market as well as the changes in the investment policy of Kazakhstan.
