其次，中印經貿合作有著廣闊的前景，經貿合作是兩國關係的驅動力。印度工商界人士改變了觀念，中國不再是威脅，而是機遇。他們紛紛到中國進行調查研究，開拓市場。確實，中印兩國互為廣闊的市場，發展經貿合作可以取得雙贏的結果。當然市場經濟的規律免不了要競爭，正當的競爭，或者如同瓦傑帕伊總理所說“健康的競爭”，它可以提高雙方企業的效益和產品的品質，從而提高各自企業在國際上的競爭力。

Secondly, the economic and trade cooperation between China and India has very broad prospects, and economic and trade cooperation was a driving force of the relations between the two countries. The Indian business community changed their ideas that China’s development was no longer a threat, it was an opportunity for them. They came and did the research in the Chinese market and expand their market in China. Indeed, China and India were each other’s broad market and the development of economic and trade cooperation could achieve a win-win result. Of course, the rule of market economy was to compete. The fair competition, or ‘the healthy competition’ mentioned by the Prime Minister Vajpayee at that time, could improve the economic benefit of both enterprises and enhance the quality of the products, thus boosted international competitiveness of both enterprises.

另外，過去，中印雙方對兩國經濟的互補性認識不足。通過近年來的交流，雙方企業家都增加了相互瞭解，例如資訊產業，存在優勢互補的巨大潛力。隨著兩國經濟的發展，這種互補性會越來越大。

Thirdly, neither China nor India were sufficiently understand the economic complementarity of both countries in the past. According to the communications in recent years, the entrepreneurs in both countries had improved the mutual understanding and realized that they had great potential of complementary advantages in some areas, such as the information industry. With the development of the two economies, the complementary would be bigger.

總之，雖然兩國間還存在一些問題，但是，兩國間的共識遠大於分歧，利益遠大於磨擦。在不久前簽署的中印關係原則和全面合作宣言的指導下，兩國友好合作關係一定能得到持續不斷的發展。

To conclude, although some problems still existed between the two countries, the consensus were greater than the differences between China and India, and their interests were greater that the friction. We believed that under the guidance of the principles of Sino-India relations and comprehensive cooperation declaration, the bilateral friendly cooperative relations would obtain the continuous development.
