The Auto Industry 印度2005年轎車及休旅車銷售量首度超過百萬,預計往後每年成長15%,至2010年市場規模可達250萬輛.由於未來前景佳,各國際國內車廠莫不大力擴廠。由於印度經濟成長迅速,各地不斷興建高速公路,增加對商用車的需求,預計至2010年可達50萬輛, 印度政府計畫將印度發展成為小型車的生產及出口重鎮. In 2005, the sales quantity in cars and suvs exceed million for the first time. This number is supposed to grow in the rate of 15% by every year in the future. Until 2010, this number may reach 2.5 million. The bright future of Indian auto industry makes the international and domestic automakers expanding their factories. Due to the fast growing of Indian economy, the highway is blossoming. We predict that the quantity demand for commercial vehicle may reach 0.5 billion when 2010 comes. Indian government plans to make India a country the international center for producing and exporting the small cars. 2.摩托車 The Motorcycle Industry 由於城郊及農村人口占總人口70%,15-24歲年輕人口占總人口25%,摩托車需求持續大幅增加。印度產制零配件雖具競爭力,然部份零配件如傳動軸,鋼圈等較中國價昂,故印度部份車廠已改自中國進口,本土大型零配件業則以引進歐美技術,購並歐美零件廠以獲得行銷管道。 Since the suburban and rural population occupy 70% of total, the 15-24 age young people accounts for 25% of total population, demand for motorcycle is drastically continually increasing. Although the India made accessories is competitive, however parts of the accessories such as Drive shaft, steel ring are more expensive compared to the products’ price in China. Therefore, parts of Indian auto factories decided to import those accessories.
