在吸引外資總額迅速增長的同時, 哈薩克斯坦外商直接投資的來源國家或地區也不斷增加,且相對集中於以美國為首的歐美發達國家。2005～2008年,對哈薩克斯坦直接投資居前十位元的國家或地區依次是: 荷蘭、美國、英屬維京群島、法國、英國、奧地利、俄羅斯、加拿大、義大利和中國。它們的投資額占哈薩克斯坦外商直接投資總額的75. 4%。其中,荷蘭和美國名列前茅, 所占比重分別達到21. 5% 和13. 3%;中國居第10位,占2. 9% (見表2) 。如果從哈薩克斯坦獨立以來累計吸引外資總額計算,美國是對哈投資最多的國家。另外,在哈年度直接投資超過1 億美元的國家從2005年的13個增加到2008年的19個。
Despite of the increased foreign direct investment, it itself is relatively concentrated in the developed countries like Europe and America .From 2005 to 2008, the direct investment in Kazakhstan ranked the top ten countries or regions are as follows: The Netherlands, the United states, the British virgin islands, France, Britain, Austria, Russia, Canada, Italy and China.  Their investment accounts for 75, 4% of total foreign direct investment .Among them, Holland and the United states rank among the best, the proportion of which reached 21, 5% and 13, 3% respectively. China ranks 10 ,accounting for 2,9 %(see table 2).Since the independence of Kazakhstan , the large amount of direct investment came from the United states ,it is the largest country which invests in Kazakhstan .In addition ,the annual direct investment of more than $100 million in the country from 13 in 2005 increased to 19 in 2008.
